Cultural Dance Center
Chicago Multi-Cultural Dance Center (CMDC) has been
bringing ballet based dance training to Chicago's urban youth from
all backgrounds since 1990. Under the leadership of Artistic
Director and Founder Homer Bryant, CMDC has trained national class
ballet dancers and other performing artists who have gone on to
Broadway and top performing arts college programs. Homer Bryant also
believes in training up full human beings and his fun and full
application of the discipline and beauty of ballet has helped
numerous students go on to the finest colleges in America, ranging
from Howard University and other HBCU's to NYU, Syracuse,
Northwestern, Wellesley and many others. Currently, Ivorie Jenkins
and Tovah Collins are scheduled to appear in Cirque Du Soleil's new
Las Vegas show and Makeda Crayton will be in a Paris, France musical
theater production this coming season. Enjoy the world class
performance and training brought to Chicago from the South Loop by
Homer Bryant!
